 General Description |
The Scart (Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorecepteurs et Televiseurs) connector is used for combined audio and video connections.
The connector is also known as Pertitel connector or Euroconnector.
A SCART connector is a physical and electrical interconnection between
two pieces of audio-visual equipment, such as a TV, DVD Player, DVD Recorder or
Video Cassette Recorder.
Each device has a female 21-pin connector interface.
(The 21st pin is actually not a pin but a ground shield contact.)
Stereo audio, Composite Video, and control signals are provided in both directions.
Today, most new TV sets, DVD and VCRs in the European market
and other countries that use the PAL video standard come
equipped with a SCART connector.
The SCART adapter provided by Dimax will let you connect DVD Red or DVD Red PRO
to any type of Video devices equipped with SCART. Our SCART adapter is general purpose
adapter which can be used not only with Dimax products.

If adapter has not performed to your satisfaction, you can simply
return the undamaged unit within 60 days period with the original sales
receipt to the distributor from whom the unit was purchased and your
money will be promptly refunded. You can also request the exchange
of your broken (not properly working unit) with new one.
This warranty applies only during normal use and care and is absolutely
void if the product is misused, neglected, damaged, altered, or repaired
by someone other than DIMAX.
